In order to get in the gate i believe you need a friendlys badge. There's a security guard usually there but the lot before the gate is big enough to take a break. If not there is a huge lot across the street that i sometimes see trucks in.
I don't personally work there, but there is always someone there if you wanted to ask.

Waited 25 minutes outside in the heat for 3 fribbles...ridiculous. Complained then they said it was on its way. Another 5 minutes..no wonder they are going under.This was in east longmeadow.

This restaurant franchise has become a joke. Went to the one in Windsor Locks by the air port and oh boy, used drive thru they claim to offer 50% off for using it yet they do not provide you with a receipt unless you ask, well I assume when paying with a credit card I should get a receipt. They never disclosed there was no to go silverware so the kids meals i ordered ended up going to waste as well as the ice creams which we were even shorted one because we were never made aware there was no silverware and the kids did not want to eat mac and cheese with their hands. I mean pretty sure its common sense if I am in the drive thru ordering to go that I am not going home to eat but eating on the move with a car packed full of kids. Heard Friendly's was going down hill fast....its sad used to be a favorite now it'll be a never again.
This evening we went to your location on Rt 44 in Raynham MA. all the outside lights where out. When mentioned to the manager, he said they don't work and walked away. Almost tripped walking back to our car. Not a good way to keep a business working.

I was just at your Forest Park location. It was the worst service ever. I was not greeted and had to find an employee to get seated. When the manager seated me she just tossed the menu down on a soaking wet table and it stuck to the table. The waitress when she finally showed up never introduced herself and spoke maybe one word.I got my food and it was semi warm and the presentation was horrific. I was not offered a refill of my coffee until i was leaving.The manager was screaming at an employee so loudly that the table next to me recorded it. She was rude to them and also to myself. Now i understand it is a rough neighborhood but there is no excuse at all for this type of service. Whomever supervises this place should be held accountable for this place. Dirty tables and bad service when you have less than 25% of your dining room seated. This is a disgrace to a home town company.
Horrible service! I went this evening to get ice cream. There were three staff members at the counter on their phones and were to distracted to wait on us. What's worse when we left to call and complain, I found out the manager was one of the employees to busy on her phone to offer assistance!
Just gave Friendlys a second chance to get an order correct for takeout. 2 Strikes because the order couldn't be prepared correctly. What has happened to pride in work. Several Friendly's (4) visited in the last year and each lacked service. The food was not always prepared and the Service was horrible. I used to love to go to Friendlys and now this was my last time. No more chances. It's too bad a great family restaurant has gone down hill so much in recent years.
I was craving your ice cream. I had a coupon 50% off what a deal. Well I guess I was mistaken. I stop in for a 5 scoop Sunday why not I had a coupon (This is the second time this has happened).The employees we pleasant I was waited on fairly quickly. I ordered a 5 scoop Sunday . I was then informed they are now called a large Sunday. O.K. no big deal.I was also told you get 12 oz more ice cream for your money. Wow again I said great. MY Sunday came very quickly the gentleman handed it to me. I said humm is this a 5 scoop Sunday he said NO our 5 scoop now are called large and our large in 3 scoops. So I guess at Friendly's you pay more for less. Moral of my story Friendly's has LOST a long time customer I will get my Friendly's ice cream at the grocery store for $1.99
terrible experience in Swansea mass today with my kids,I was told the 1.99 kids special that runs mon thru wed is only for 1 kid and you can only get it if you buy a adult entree,I was totally embarrassed bye the staff in front of the other families dining in the restaurant. The manager snatched my bill from my hand as I asked her to fix it . I'm posting about this in every group I'm in on Facebook ,snap chat and tweeter to get the word out how horrible this location is and how I was treated. unbelievable.,never again will I be seen in Friendly's.
Have never met such nice people while delivering to a corporation, kudos to these folks and thank you for being such great people
Need more staffs to cover up the crowd. Some people were sent back due to less staffing at back in the kitchen

I just left a review of one star because the portions were microscopic, and prices have jumped too, but the manager, I'm not sure of her name, gave us duplicate of our order because we were leaving hungry. She was soft spoken, light brown hair, hazel eyes, some freckles on her cheeks, was a very sweet girl. Friendly's needs more people like her, and Friendly's needs to listen to her!! Great job!!
I was at the Friendly's at Cumberland Mall in Vineland, NJ, this was today, August 2nd, 2016 at noon. Now, anyone that uses a wheelchair knows how tough it can be to get around places. The host, which seats people tried to sit me at a booth. I don't know about other people but a booth is no place for a wheelchair or at least it isn't for me. Two problems with that is, the host didn't ask and then when my husband and I told him no a table would be better, he took us down the skinniest aisle to get to the only two tables in there with removable chairs instead of the wider aisle, which anyone with a brain could see it would be easier to get a wheelchair down. Besides, there was hardly anyone in the restaurant that I couldn't see why he couldn't put us at one of the only two tables they have with removable chairs and why he would have me go down a skinny aisle. These people need training for sure!.
Waited for an hour for our order and ended up leaving because it's wasn't close to being ready, and they weren't busy.
Ahhhhh Friendly's, a long standing fixture here in New England. How, I'll never know. Restaurants are usually disorganized and sometimes dirty. My travels have brought me to their distribution center/ corporate offices where it appears disorganization starts at the top. My paperwork said to enter on Kent Rd. A sign on Kent road says shipping and receiving. Next to that one "no trucks, use Boston rd"So cruise around the neighborhood, back to Boston rd where the gate says "trucks use Kent road". The actual gate to enter is before their building, if you're coming from the east. It's too bad that Friendly's is just so screwed up. The food isn't bad when it finally gets to you. My suggestion to Friendly's is find out who is the CEO of Newport Creamery, and hire them. They get 2 stars because the front gate guy and guy who unloaded my truck were very nice.

Loaded at the Creamery. In and out in just over 1 hour. Nice folks here. I imagine it's good ice cream based on their name!!! Lol
Went to breakfast June 1st, took a long time to get seated and waited on. Waitress never asked how we liked our breakfast. Toast was ice cold, over easy eggs were almost warm, got bottom of pot of coffee. Never again!!
Waited six hours to get docked. Hopefully this is just bc they changed their computer system.
Dear friendlys my nephew went to one of your Massachusetts restaurants, the look on his face is perfect picture material worth a million bucks wait till you see this kid he's absolutely beautiful hope you can use him in your advertising campaigns he would be perfect I did get an email from your company a little while ago but I lost the email could you please email me again with the proper connections so someone in your office can take a look at him he is blond with blue eyes he's absolutely beautiful thank you very much hope to hear from you soon

Local company that outgrew itself and got too fat away from its basics, ice cream, cheese burgers and hot dogs. Honey barbecue superment is still a local staple. Great for kids less than 21 and older than 65. Not much in between.
Minimum parking for trucks. Quick to load. No free ice cream
Do not show up early... especially if your appt is on 2nd shift.5 people standing in there. But lets load dropped trailers. Let the human sit for hrs. It was a small order too.. oh well I will never book a load from here. No respect.

You can change the menu, change the decor but until you provide faster service, you will not see us at your restaurants. Waiting 10 minutes for a server to take the order and another 30-35 minutes for the order to arrive is not the mark of a good restaurant.
We have been sitting here, trying to find out who has the magic code to unlock the door to the one almighty receiver..everyone looks at you strangely, as if they are all robots and not allowed to communicate with humans for fear of not getting their daily dose of oil..kind of feels as if I'm at Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory..the only one approachable willing to help was Adam...
The restaurant is clean and close to the factory.
On $2 Tuesday I went to Wethersfield store. I am handicapped so my friend went to the window and was refused since I was not able to come alone My friend then came back to the car and set up my scooter so I could drive to the. Window. Manager informed me that two people together would not be served.. I am doing everything I can to let others know of this treatment of handicapped people.
